Posted on Sep 23 2023 - 6:27pm

It is very important that we provide a safe space for all Scouts in Scouting. Please invest in the
safety of your Scouts and fellow Scouts by taking the time to become "YPT certified."

YPT is an acronym for the "Youth Protection Training" course that is offered by the BSA. The course
is 100% online and free.

Bring a Broom! - Broom Hockey - Monday, 9/18 Pack Meeting

Posted on Sep 15 2023 - 10:37am

Broom Hockey Anyone?
At the Monday, 9/18 Pack Meeting, Scouts will be playing Broom Hockey!
To ensure that we have enough brooms, we ask that you please bring a broom to the pack meeting. Ideally, it is a broom
that is maneuverable by our young Scouts.

Gear Share - Monday, 9/18 Pack Meeting

Posted on Sep 15 2023 - 10:31am

A Scout is Thrifty!

Do you have outdoor or camping gear that you no longer need? How about hiking boots that your Scout has grown out of?
Sleeping bags, tents, mess kits, lanterns, headlamps/flashlights and related items that have lots of life left in them are welcome!

Kindly, bring your items to the Pack Meeting on Monday, 9/18 at Balboa Middle School. We will have tables set up and manned by
Camp Coordinator, Philip Casanta. Share your gently used gear with fellow Scouts, especially those new to our Pack!

Perhaps you can choose something that you need for upcoming Scouting adventures, like Fall Family Camp next October.
You are also welcome to bring Scouting items (handbooks, neckerchiefs, slides, uniform pieces etc.) to add to our Scout Uniform closet.

Thank you for sharing and contributing to Pack 3179!
